BIRD HOOK

CAN/BOTTLE OPENER
The function of the Can/Bottle Opener blade is self-descriptive. It’s most popular with campers and hikers.

CLIP
The Clip blade is extremely versatile - just the thing for those everyday tasks at work or around the house. With a sharp point for piercing, the shape allows for better control of the cutting edge.

COPING
This is used commonly in carpenter’s knives to scratch lined in wood or other materials.

CORKSCREW
The Corkscrew blade is a practical addition to a folding knife, offering a convenient tool for opening bottles with corks on the go. DIVOT TOOL
The Divot Tool blade is a specialized attachment on a folding kniffe, designed specifically for golf enthusiasts. It’s typically used as a divot or ball mark repair tool.

DOCTOR’S KNIFE SPEAR
The Spear blade on the Doctor’s knife bears a slender profile with a center-point tip that’s made for light-duty piercing and other tasks that require a more delicate touch.

DROP POINT
The Drop Point blade is ideally suited for hunters, particularly when skinning game. This blade shape is also popular for everyday use.

FILLET
The Fillet blade is a specialized blade attachment on a folding knife, specifically designed for precision filleting and deboning tasks. Its thin and flexible profile allows for effortless maneuvering around bones and contours of fish or meat, ensuring clean and precise cuts.

FISH SCALER
The Fish Scaler will make quick work of the day’s catch, with a special serrated design for easy scaling and a hook disgorger at the blade tip used to remove the hook from the fish’s mouth. This blade also features a cap lifter.

FOIL BLADE
The Foil blade is a specialized attachment on a folding knife, specificall designed for cutting away the foil that covers the neck and cork of an unopened wine or champagne bottle. This blade can be found on Case’s Bartender Knife (’130 pattern).

FORK/BOTTLE OPENER
The Fork/Bottle Opener blade is a unique feature found on certain folding knives, offering a convenient eating utensil as well as a bottle opener. Most commonly found on the Case Hobo®.

GUT HOOK
The Gut Hook blade is a specialized attachment on a folding knife, designed specifically for field dressing game. Its distinctive hook-shaped edge allows for precise and controlled cutting along the abdomen, facilitating the opening of the animal for dressing and processing.

HAWKBILL
The Hawkbill blade is designed for a “pull cut,” making this a great tool for pruning, cutting carpet and stripping wire.

HOOF PICK
The Hoof Pick blade is a practical addition to a folding knife, offering a versatile tool for horse owners and equestrians. WIth its curved and pointed design, it allows for easy cleaning and maintenance of horse hooves, removing debris, dirt and stones.

LONG CLIP
The Long Clip blade features a narrow profile and sharp point for fine detail work. Found in certain Case patterns like the LArge Texas Toothpick.

PEN
The Pen blade shape was originally designed to cut and sharpen turkey quills for use as ink pens. Today, it still makes a great blade for light-duty work.

PUNCH
The Punch is a specialized blade designed for puncturing or poking holes into leather, wood or other materials.

RUSSLOCK® CLIP
The RussLock mecchanism, along with a gimped lever for convenient one-hand opening. It is commonly used as a multi-purpose utility blade and is preferred for detail work.

SAW
The Saw blade is a versatile blade that is used for a variety of cutting applications, such as sawing bone and gristle in meat, cutting sticks general camp use. It also offers a screwdriver tip.

SHEEPFOOT
The Sheepfoot blade features a straight edge and a curved back, allowing for greater tip strength and control of the cutting edge with your fingers. Originally designed for trimming sheep’s hooves, this blade is ideal for carving and carpentry work.

SKINNER
The Skinner blade is ideal for the hunter and outdoorsperson. The curved shape of the blade allows for a more aggressive cut.

SPATULA
The Spatula blade is a specialty blade that was used for mixing powders or salves by doctors and physicians. It was also used for counting pills. It may have also been used by doctors as a tongue depressor.

SPEAR
The Spear blade features a symmetrical shape with a stronger blade tip for piercing. This heavy-duty blade is a favorite with farmers and anyone with some tough cuts to make.

SPEY
The Spey blade was a vital tool for farmers and ranchers who would use it when castrating livestock. Also a favored tool for skinning game, this all-purpose blade shape is found in many popular knife patterns such as the Trapper.

SPOON/CAN OPENER
The Spoon/Can Opener blade is a unique feature found on certain folding knives, offering a convenient eating utensil as well as a can opener. Most commonly found on the Case Hobo®.

TANTO
The Tanto blade shape was inspired by Japanese swords with a flat edge and front edge meeting at an angle. This style of blade offers a stronger tip.

TRAILING POINT
The Trailing Point’s fine blade tip is great for piercing and digging, while the sweeping edge geometry adds cutting versatility for any outdoors enthusiast. Great for skinning and long cuts, as well as general use.

WHARNCLIFFE
The Wharncliffe blade features a thick back for added strength, curving to a fine point that meets a straight-honed edge for extra control. This is a rugged, hardworking blade.
